Yellow stool: The amount, color, frequency of stool varies with foods, speed of emptying of the GI tract, medications &amp; supplements ingested, gut flora (unique for each individual), additives (like blood), subtractions (like absent bile), infection, inflammation, &amp; other factors. If stool pattern has changed, is unusual for you, &amp; the change persists, or is accompanied by other symptoms, see your doctor.

Food poisoning.: With vomiting and diarrhea, I suspect that you may have food poisoning (most likely salmonella). These symptoms are usually self-limited and the important thing is to keep yourself hydrated adequately.  If these symptoms last more than a day and you cannot keep fluid down, then see your doctor or going to an urgent care center are the options.

Get checked: I am more concerned that you may have a case of appendicitis than any potential complication with the mesh. Get to the ER now if this has been present for over a week.

Diarrhea: This  may be an effect of the milk of magnesia, (magnesium hydroxide) although it usually doesn't last that long. If it's due to the medicine, it should resolve over the next day or two. If the diarrhea persists, be sure to drink lots of fluids to avoid dehydration. Call your doctor if the diarrhea lasts longer than a week, if it worsens, or if new symptoms develop. Good luck.

: The yellow liquid component could be from liver,gall bladder or pancreatic issues with some malabsorption.  A gastroenterologist would be best to evaluate &amp; advise you. Any appropriate testing will be ordered.

Intestine infection?: A mild tummy ache with symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, may be from a virus infection, bacteria infection, or contaminated food. A normal person, not pregnant, not on medications, usually recovers easily. Taking a Pedialyte popsicle hourly plus eating little else, for one day, settles things down for some people. Stool tests for norovirus, Giardia, &amp; bacteria (S,S,C,Y) may be needed.

Talk to a local dr: With type 1 DM, you are aware of how to handle your insulin on sick days. this is taught by whoever has been managing your Diabetes. Since you are seeing blood in stool, it should not be taken lightly and you should speak to your local physician IMMEDIATELY so emergent care is not delayed.  Bleeding can get worse. Feeling exhausted/cold may be a sign that BP is low from blood loss/dehydration
