Maybe: Braxton hicks contractions may go away after a shower, but also may not.  Sometimes a relaxing endeavor like a shower or bath can cause them to diminish.  If your contractions are rhythmic and timed, as you say, every 5 minutes, and last for more than an hour, you should go to labor & delivery to be evaluated.

Varies: Different people experience braxton Hix contractions differently . Some find them painful, some describe them as annoying. Some are just aware of them. If you think you are potentially in preterm labor then an evaluation is warranted

Maybe: The problem is alot of women say they have braxton hicks when they actually describe regular contractions.  Braxton Hicks are PAINLESS tightening.  If it hurts that's a contraction and only way to know if its preterm labor vs. false labor pains is thru an evaluation with your OB.  However, several contractions an hour several hours a day are relatively common.

Bring to OB attentio: WHill this us indeed very normal , I'd make sure I mention this during routine OB visit . If at any time they become actually painful , that warrants a call to the OB. Also, if any other symptoms , such as changes in urination , fever , etc then also call.

Early Labor: Braxton Hicks contractions are usually not regular and typically not strong enough to cause discomfort. It's possible you are in early labor. It would probably be best to call your OB and let them know this is happening and follow their advice. Your OB may want to have you go to labor and delivery for an exam and monitoring of the contractions as well as your baby's heart rate tracings. Good luck!

Contractions: Yes, these are most likely Braxton Hicks contractions. Having some at 33 weeks is quite normal. They should not be regular and frequent though. You might have 3 or 4 an hour and then not notice any for the rest of the day - that's ok. However, if they are frequent, painful and regular, or if you see any bleeding, you should be checked by your doctor immediately.

Braxton Hicks: These can occur at ANY time of the day or night.  For some strange reason, however, they are more common at night.

Good Question: They can start as early as 24 weeks but usually start around 28/32 weeks. You will feel light cramping in your abdomen which will come and go in waves which are not repetative! if you are pre-term and they become regular  2/10 minutes apart go to your OB delivery center and call your dr!
