: You should be in a proper regimental physical therapy program To help strengthen the extremity to protect yourself from further harm. You would be able to start bearing weight when you’re able to protect yourself from being injured and not before hand. Do not rush it. It’s all about getting range of motion and strength back to the extremity

hello, i had a medial meniscus repair and a lateral meniscitimy. its been 3 weeks is it normal for me to feel a little sharp pain when trying to straighten my knee, do quad sets and leg lifts. my knee is also still swollen. should i be worried?

: I would keep exercises to a minimum.  From your description, heeling has not been established.  Ask Orthopedist to evaluate.  Tell him/her what you have been doing.

It depends: Many people suffer from lateral ankle injuries. At your age, I would get evaluated. Many times when an ankle is injured, it is prone to re-injury if not properly treated with rehabilitation etc. Please see your orthopedic surgeon to get the proper exam and further studies.

The ankle ligament: Is likely stretched out and so it does not do its job anymore and as a result the foot turns when it should stay straight as its is no longer stable. Usually, this leads to frequent or chronic sprains.
