Depends: Usually not genetic, but glioblastoma or grade iii glioma can be part of the hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndrome (hboc) form a mutated brca gene.

Yes.: In certain brain tumors, genetic mutations have been discovered.  Some of these are 'passed down' from parent to child.  Others are new and spontaneous.  There are many different types of brain tumors, both benign and malignant.  Each has its own unique genetic risk.

Generally not: Isolated pituitary tumors generally are not genetic. These are the majority of the pituitary tumors and include prolactin, growth hormone, and non-secreting pituitary tumors. There are associations with other tumors: the multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome-1 (mens-1) that are believed to be genetic linked. This is inherited in an autosomal dominant fashion.

Probably not but...: Sorry about your mom. Rare types of brain tumors (about 5%) may have genetic increased risk but in 95% of brain tumors there is no increased risk to children. 
It is impossible for anyone here to know if you have a brain tumor but most "head problems" have other causes.

Varies: A tumor or growth, involving the brain during childhood. Can be malignant (cancerous) or benign. Almost always serious due to the brain being involved. Modern surgery , chemotherapy and radiation therapy can treat effectively in many of the cases.

Just suspicious: A good eye specialist can use the eye exam as a window into the brain.  However, the exam can only suggest that some pathological process is occurring.  Once an abnormal feature is discovered, specific tests need to be performed to investigate the cause.  This usually involves brain imaging, spinal tap, specific blood and spinal fluid analysis, even brain surgery.

: If these cancers occurred at an age younger than is usual for these cancers, that would indicate a genetic risk, You may wish to consult a geneticist with the details of the tumors, ages at which the lesions were diagnosed and any genetic testing that may have been done on your relatives and tumors.

Greatly doubt: It would be very surprising to have a brain tumor announce itself as low back / musculoskeletal-type pain.  Finding the cause of low back pain / leg weakness is tricky and generally requires a specialist despite its being extremely common.
