May be normal: It is normal in thin individuals to see / feel your pulse in the upper abdomen.In that case there are no symptoms . It would also be normal to have a bounding pulse with exercise / fever/ anxiety etc. If you have additinal symptoms chest pain ,shortness of breath, dizziness then further evalaution may be necessary

Aortic aneurysm: Around 65yo, we recommend one time screening ultrasound in men who('ve) smoke(d) to look for AAA (abdominal aortic aneurysm). Or we might order earlier if we feel especially large/wide bounding pulse in your belly.  Best to go see your Family Doc for evaluation.

Many things: It could be you are stressed or had too much caffene. It could be you are thin and can easily feel the major artery in the abdomen.  It could be an aneurism although you seem a little young for that.
