Yes: A pulse is caused by a beating artery. The stomach has many arteries. Sometimes people refer to the abdominal cavity as the stomach. If you lay your hand on your abdomen and feel a pulse you are feeling your aorta.

Stomach pulse?: Thinner people can often feel the pulse of the abdominal aorta if they press upon the center of the abdomen. We can also sometimes feel this pulse transmitted across the liver, which can sit upon the aorta. But have a doctor evaluate it to make sure it’s normal for you.

Aorta: The major artery coming out of the heart goes down into the abdomen. You might feel its pulsations that reflect the heart beat.
