i am extremely swelled and my legs are beyond huge.sometimes legs burn and sometimes not but the bottom of feet feel like burning at times so i take off my shows and walk barefoot makes it feel better but at times putting back shoes feels better too?

Seek medical help. : You seem to have an edema problem and an abnormal burning sensations.  They could be related or they could be different. It is possible for the edema  to be so severe it’s putting pressure on the nerve that’s creating these type of symptoms.   that being the case you need to get help to control your Edema.  That can be caused by a number of organ systems example heart kidney.

woke up w/feet pain, had it all day. pain/burning on bottom of feet. hurts to stretch/walk. tried bengay, epsom salt & aleve (naproxen) no-relief yet.

Couple of thoughts : This could be neuropathy but do your feet change  color when this happens. This could suggest a problem call erythromelalgia. These are some of things that your physician will look for when you are evaluated.

Feet: Different things can be reason for that. Commonly could be due to Neuropathy-nerve problems which could be due to diabetes, nerves problems at the back. Also could be due to arthritis in the feet. Another possibility could be due to nerves damage/injury at the feet, to rule out any lumps on the feet. Better to see podiatris for detailed exam.

Need exam: Palms &amp; soles with these symptoms needs an examination because there a number of things that it could be &amp; these need to be ruled in &amp; out by inspection, blood work, &amp; history.  At any rate, if this is an absolutely brand new set of symptoms which have never been discussed with a doctor then, you've now figured out the time to go...NOW.....some blood work will help and then, appropriate medication

Metatarsalagia: Several factors may cause metatarsalagia.  As we age the plantar fat pad beneath the metatarsals begin to thin and atrophy. Try gel insoles in your shoes... There is no treatment available other than comfort ..,

about 2 months ago, i woke up with excruciating pain to my foot. cramping and burning sensation to bottom of foot which resolved with walking. now every night when i lie down within 30 minutes this repeats regardless of positioning?

: If you also have type 2 diabetes mellitus, your symptoms are consistent with diabetic neuropathy. If you do not have diabetes mellitus, peripheral vascular disease needs to be ruled out. You should discuss with your doctor about these symptoms. Good luck!

Different things: Can cause pain in the feet.  Burning pain leads me to think there may be irritation or entrapment of a nerve or neuroma.  Having said that, other things may lead to the pain that you described such as stress fractures.  Evaluation by a podiatrist could be beneficial.

See below: You may have erosion of the fat pad or metatarsalgia then it will feel like walking on bone.  Try a pair of silicone inserts.

Neuropathy: Need to see a doctor.  It sounds like you are suffering from peripheral neuropathy.
