Unlikely: Bone tumor highly unlikely in this scenario.  Best place to start is primary care doctor or a dermatologist.  If it is a cyst, can be removed easily.

Not allergy: In the absence of any nasal symptoms, I suspect that you may have a temporomandibular joint issue instead (TMD). Have you been under a lot of stress lately leading to teeth-grinding?   Suggest you contact your dentist to check for TMD. If no TMD and problem persists, you will need to contact your doctor or neurologist .

Tumor: By definition a tumor is a mass, either benign or malignant.  On the top of the head, a lesion the size of a dime falls into the benign group of tumors.  It can be a true bony lesion or osteoma, a small fibrous tumor, a dense lipoma or cytst.  Malignant tumors here usually ulcerate the skin.  If it grows or becomes painful then biopsy is indicated.

Unlikely: Bone cancer is rare, so it is likely not a cancer right out of the gate. Where is this lump, behind the ear? If so, it's likely normal anatomy (mastoid process). No skull is completely without irregularities, if you have symptoms such as pain, headaches, or increase in size would get it checked out, if not there's probably nothing to worry about.

could you tell me what happens after you have a begnin bone tumor removed from your head at the hospital?

Observation: Generally, the boney tumor is excised and the defect in the skull is covered either with small metal plates or a special type of bone cement. It may be left "unfilled" if it is small.  There may be some small amount of growth in   of the surrounding normal bone that will fill the defect to a certain extent. One would then observe the region of concern with serial cts to watch for recurrence.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor.

Brain tumor: Very unlikely that the lump is a brain tumor. Lumps are common at the growth plates or an old bump on the head can remain. Tumors that grow from the skull such as osteomas or meningiomas are benign slow growing tumors that occur mainly in women past menopause. Headaches with blurred vision are usually migraines. An MRI of the brain will exclude a brain tumor. See a neurologist for the headaches.

im 30 with a paraganglioma, i have no children yet, im worried if i go for chemo it might affect future fertility, the tumour was confirmed its benign yet chemo was advised at its also seen in few skeletal bones, 2 tumours were surgically removed?

Osteoma: An osteoma (plural: "osteomata") is a new piece of bone usually growing on another piece of bone, typically the skull. It is a benign tumor.  Could be part of gardner syndrome which is inherited colonic polyps.

ok so ive had this one spot on my forehead, a little bit to the right from the center that hurts randomly throughout the day, and when i touch it. is this something serious like a tumor? any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

: Best to have this examined by your doctor. Without seeing it, a definite diagnosis can't be made. This could be a simple bruise under the skin (from a bump you don't recall and may not be visible), or a cyst, or a pimple under the skin. You don't say whether there is a bump or not. Other questions you may be asked is if you have an visual problems or headaches. I'm sure your doctor can help!
