It doesn't grow: Bone graft does not "grow" it serves as a scaffold for your own bone. Your bdy removes the bone graft and replaces it with your own live bone. Depending on the size of the graft it can take several months  unto a year , year and a half.

Depends: This depends on where the bone graft was placed, the cause of the bone graft falling out, etc.  For example, a bone graft in a cervical (neck) disc space that has move out of position could potentially be a serious issue.  See your physician for further evaluation.
