i have this huge boil/abscess on my pubic area like some of it's inside the lip and some out. i am antibiotic for two weeks & no improvement! it hurts?

Treatment Failure: The medications are not working. It is way past time to let your physician know this. You may need the abscess drained surgically.

i had an abscess on my finger about3 weeks ago and got it taken care of,i now have an abscess in my pubic area for a few weeks now.should i go 2 er?

Yes: If you are asking, it is safer to to to ER than not go. Do go if you have pain and fever.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

i have 3 abscess or boil below the waist area, will i be admitted into hospital and put under sedation to drain these?

how soon after an abscess is drained does it flatten out again? i had an abscess drained from my pubic area a couple of days ago and it is still hard and raised. no pus came out from i&d, just blood. is it normal to still feel hard & raised? no pain?

: Two days is too soon to have all swelling clear up. Return to your doctor if it starts to enlarge again, or if no better after a week or two.

it's the second time in 2 months. this time she has two,one under her arm and the other on her back.
the 1st time she had about 5 at a time.

Doctor can examine: Boils come in many sizes, such as 1/8 of an inch up to more than an inch. They can be anywhere in the body.  Usually, it should take a few days to dry up if a tiny pimple, but a doctor should check it out if there is any reason to worry, of if the boil isn't merely a tiny one. People with multiple or recurrent boils can be treated with antibiotics and tested for resistant bacteria or other issues.

Among them are the following: furuncle or carbuncle, cystic acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, and pilonidal cyst.If the abscess is small (less than 1 cm or less than ½ inch across), applying warm compresses to the area for about 30 minutes, four times daily may help.

Medical Consult: You may need to see a doctor to get the boil treated.  It is likely you may need antibiotics and possibly incision and drainage of the pus.  In the meantime warm compresses, hot shower the area may allow the boil to open on its on.
