how come i get body pain when i sleep or lay down?

Musculoskeletal: #fibromyalgia (fm)?  Widespread body pain in early thirties female, especially when lying down, arouses concern for pelvic girdle and/or shoulder girdle disorders, which commonly occur when person lying down. Vertebral spine disorders less pained when lying down. Mattress ground force toques these girdles impinging neural tracts, including autonomic nerves. My opinion after examining many with fm.

Exercise when awake.: You are not having restful sleep for various reasons that you may know including anxiety. To reduce the effect the best thing may be to find why and correct it otherwise regardless of how you feel when you wake up exercise or yoga to relieve the stress in your muscles and with time that may help but it would help for the day you exercise.

Many factors: Body aches, by themselves, can cause sleep problems. Poor sleep is usually due to being aroused from sleep and this is often due to pain from some area of the body.
An over the counter pain medication such as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) taken one hour before retiring can help alleviate aches while sleeping.
A 'sleep study' can provide more data-see your doctor for more info.

: The body aches is most likely because of tension and incomplete metabolism in the muscles. It means you are not sleeping for the same reason that you have the muscle aches. You should resolve tension and stresses to have resolution of both insomnia and muscle tension.

Lack of sleep: makes everything worse.  The first thing to consider is sleep hygiene, that is having an environment that is conducive to sleep.  Dark room, comfortable temperature, quiet.  If you have these contact your doctor who can evaluate and treat this problem.

: Could be. Keep a detailed diary.  Your body is talking to you.  Listen to it and share with your Drs to figure outwhat is going on.

Sound like sinusitis: Some are more prone to sinus pain than others because they don't drain as easily. If your symptoms last longer than the others then you may be getting secondary bacterial infections in your sinuses which can cause fever and facial pain that is not symmetrical (more on one side or more in either forehead or cheek). Bacterial sinusitis requires different antibiotics longer than other infections.

Unlikely: It is unlikely that the fan itself will cause problems.  However, if it is on high and you get cold, you could, in theory not sleep as well.

Non specific: These are very non specific symptoms. You might have caught a virus and might have been dehydrated. It is a good idea to see a primary doctor or urgent care if the symptoms persist longer. Eat and drink water or gatorade to hydrate you if you can in the mean time. If high fever worry about flu in winter.
