Absolutely. : Absolutely. In fact, even if a patient only has mild amount of excess fat in their thigh i would still highly recommend thigh liposuction. This is because the liposuction procedure itself not only removes unwanted fat but also increases the mobility of the skin on the thigh by making multiple tunnels. This then allows for removing more of the excess skin on the thigh with the lift procedure as well as decreasing the tension at the wound closure site. Overall by taking more skin this will give a more pleasing result and likely a better scar because of the lessened wound tension.

The : The need for plastic surgery to remove excess skin after weight loss depends on many factors. The most significant are the degree of weight loss and the recoil or recovery of skin stretch. The degree of weight loss is a double edged sword in that most patients want to lose as much as they can of their excess weight but the more they lose the more "excess" skin they will have. While there is very little proven to improve the recovery of stretched skin one sign of skin that will not recover as well are stretch marks. These areas of thinning of the skin which can also be reddened are one indication hat the skin has stretched beyond its ability to recover.

Yes, : Yes, lipodissove has a shorter recovery time than liposuction. Liposdissolve entails the injection of chemicals into fatty body areas so that body fat is dissolved and (over a a series of treatments) can reduce the appearance and improve contour of fatty areas on the body.
Most patients can return to regular activities right away, following the procedure. Swelling and redness is a common side effect, but do not typically cause restriction on a patient's daily activities.
The benefits of lipodissolve, as compared to liposuction, is that it is a minimally invasive option, does not require anesthesia and has a much shorter recovery period.

Bleacher: The pigmentation after liposuction can be either from break down product of hemoglobin or from post inflamtory skin hyperpigmentation. For the 1st reason, only time can help to absorb the pigmentation. For the second reason you can use a bleacher like hydroquinone 4% that you apply on the pigmentation twice a day. Your surgeon can tell which one is the right approach.

Ab exercises: One the fat has been removed with liposuction, there is less fatty tissue covering your abdominal muscles.  With the proper diet and exercise program you could develop a 6-pack.  This is not easy and you may need a personal trainer to fully build up those muscles.

Technically : Technically there is no limit to the number of areas that can undergo liposuction with the body jet.  Most surgeons use tumescent anesthesia before the device is used, so the use of enough anesthetic for those areas would be "pushing the limit".  Since the thighs are connected to the buttocks, those areas should be done together.  On a separate day your surgeon can do your upper and lower abdomen and feather the result into your pubic fat area (if any) and into your flank (waist area).  Don't try to do too much at a time.  Safelty first.
