the bites from the pubic lice causing blood spots on my skin?

Should go away soon: These could just be hyper allergic response to lice. After lice treatment, these should fade away in a week or so. If not, let your doctor examine it for a better assessment.

Heat stroke: will cause ataxia and anterior vermal cerebellar atrophy on CT / MRI. ( see photo ) With permission from my teaching file.

Anaphylactic purpura: This condition may be due to fragility of your capillary blood vessel walls which makes them leak blood. Usually the cause is a hypersensitivity reaction. This explains why your blood cell counts are normal (only vessel walls are affected which increases your bleeding time in response to minor trauma)

i have red blood spots appear on my skin. first it was one or two that has been there for a while, but then they started to spread rapidly on my arms, chest, belly and thighs. my wbc is 9.8 and my v-d, 25-hydroxy is 29.8. what could this be?

: If you have a low platelet count blood can leak from capillaries &amp; cause petechiae. Autoimmune disease causing vasculitis can also do this. Have an examination by your physician to determine whether these spots are petechiae &amp; whether he/she will order more blood tests or refer you to a hematologist for evaluation or whether you should be referred to a dermatologist if the spots are something else

Dr. can examine skin: Skin rashes are hard to describe with words. A rash that looks worrisome, lasts more than a few days, or keeps recurring should be examined by a primary care doctor or a dermatologist. A doctor can start treatment, or he can do additional testing if the diagnosis is uncertain. Face rashes include acne, allergic reactions, rosacea, seborrhea, etc.. Sometimes, internal disease can cause a face rash.

i am getting blood spots under the skin on only my left arm. they appear suddenly and fade away in about 10 days. what causes them?

Doctor can evaluate: Blood spots on the skin are called petechiae (purpura if they are bigger splotches), and are due to blood cells leaking out of the tiny blood vessels in the skin. After the blood cells have leaked out, the area behaves just like a bruise (the body breaks down the blood cells into different colored pigments, and carries them away over a week). The Dr. wants to find out why blood cells were leaking.

Rash: Not likely a breast cancer, more likely a skin disease like eczema, which especially with pendulous breasts may become irritated or infected. First see your pcp or obg for a good breast exam including palpation for masses or nipple discharge. This may just be a skin disease, but should be checked.

Dermatitis: You need to have a doctor lay eyes and hands on the rash for an appropriate diagnosis. Dermatologist are the skin doctors.
