neuritis: Your symptoms suggest neuritis. Since it's unilateral (affecting only 1 hand), compression is the most likely cause. Compression can occur at a higher level, but carpal tunnel syndrome is the more common cause. A more thorough eval will lead to the cause.

Numbness: At your age I would suspect a pinching of nerves or blood vessel by positional factors while driving and that symptoms would resolve with avoiding prolonged arm and hand positions like those. This would be more likely than other causes like blockages in arm, neck or brain blood vessels. If symptoms didn't quickly resolve see your physician or a neurologist but take an aspirin first.

Good habits: Minor high blood pressure can sometimes be controlled with a healthy diet and exercise, and avoiding salt. I do not expect dizziness and numbness to be caused by slight blood pressure elevation. That would require a more complete history and physical exam to diagnose. Feel better!

Ventilation: Is it possible you were hyperventilating?  Sounds like a heavy breathing induced  phenomena. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Postural: I suspect that your blood pressure dropped quickly as you stood up. Fainting or severe lightheadedness often accompanies such a postural drop in blood pressure. I would be reassured if you recovered quickly without residual neurological symptoms. If repeated similar symptoms occur, see your physician or a neurologist for evaluation and advice. Have sitting and standing blood pressures checked.

Weight loss: can lower bp.  Please discuss this w/your doctor.  Did you try to loose weight or is the cause unknown?  He/she may do some tests to rule out other causes.  Peace and good health.
