If there is some swelling of the pylorus retaining gas in the stomach which backs up, it can present with excess gas in the cervical esophagus which may put some pressure on the wind pipe or trachea.

Heart burn can cause pain in epigastrium with burping usually burning in nature.

2. If this doesn't help, simethicone (gas-x) can help dissolve gas particles and make gas easier to pass
