Gas pain: Pain in abdomen that is relieved on its own by passing gas is know as gas pain. It can be felt as bad colic that self resolves. Heart burn can cause pain in epigastrium with burping usually burning in nature. Hope this helps. Any abdominal pain should be evaluated by physician if persists.
