Eustacian Tube : You may have some form of eustacian tube dysfuction which drains the ear into the nose. Allergy, infection and other causes may result in blockage of the drainage system and fluid pressure is noted with a painful ear.

2 separate problems: Although the blocked ear and sinusitis may be caused by the same virus, the 2 problems are separate and not causing each other.  Rather, most likely the virus is causing nasal obstruction leading to sinusitis and the same virus may be causing Eustachian tube obstruction leading to the blocked ear.  I would advise seeing an ENT doctor for help.

Family practice : Voice change or hoarseness has to do with swelling around your vocal cords. Ears that are plugged maybe caused by fluid from inflation or just wax build up. Your dr could let you know if it persists.

Yes: Your SCM if irritated and tight can be associated with ear fullness. Much of that has to do with the underlying muscle under the SCM being tight too. If recent injury a trial of NSAID and muscle relaxer can help associated with a warm compress.  If persistent physical therapy should benefit.

No: Light headedness is not a symptom of middle or inner ear disease.  Vertigo (spinning) is.  Light headedness is multifaceted and can be the result of blood pressure problems or metabolic diseases.  The left ear blockage is independent and may be due to wax, middle ear fluid.
You can not unblock an ear without a diagnosis.  Strongly urge you to see an ENT doctor to give a correct diagnosis.

No: The wax in your ear canal will not alter your voice. Your own perception of your voice can change with ear wax blocking your ear as this amplifies the internal sounds. The voice you hear normally is through the reasonance of your skull. That is why it sounds different to you than when you hear it on a recording. The wax can alter this reasonance for your own perception of your voice.

hi, i have a blocked ear. i tried fixing by draining it with water in the shower which didnt work and then hydrogen peroxide 3% which also didnt work. how do i treat this? also, i have had very mild cold symptoms for 2-3 weeks.

Eustachian problem: This sounds more like your middle ear is filled with backed up mucus. This sometimes happens with/after a cold when the tube that drains mucus from the ear swells shut. Yawning a few times may allow air to enter if your issue is minor. It would likely eventually self heal when the tube swelling disappears. If it persists see your doc.
