lately i've been getting blisters on the side of my tongue. could this be from stress?  i've been really angry and upset too.

Aphthous ulcers: These could be aphthous ulcers or canker sores which can be brought on by stress.  They usually go away within 7-10 days.  Any lesions in the mouth that last longer than that should be checked out by your doctor.

i have a few blisters on the side of my tongue and i have one on the outside of my mouth under my lip and also i am getting a blister on the inside of my upper lid in my eye. i have had herpes zoster before and i also have hpv. so could this be herpes zos

See below: This sounds more like herpes.  If it is near your eye, you need to be evaluated.

i have been on 5 antibiotics in 5 months. i have metastatic breast cancer and i have a low immune system. i have a white tongue, very red throat, blisters on the side of my tongue and i feel like i have a lump in my throat. is this thrush?

: Maybe. Antibiotics kill general germs but not the cause of thrush, a germ that is everywhere and can thrive if all the competing germs are killed off &amp; they can move into the space. Contact your doc. It is treatable with anti-yeast meds in liquid form.

Go to dentist: Usually blisters or traumatic lesions in the mouth resolve themselves within 2 weeks.  You could possibly have a sharp spot on one of your teeth that you repeatedly keep knicking your tongue with.  Other than that, please have your dentist check it out.

Have it examined: Can't tell exactly what the lesion is, how long you have it, its color, or if there are any contributing factors like smoking or dipping. Make an appointment with a local oral surgeon.

See your doc: This could be a viral infection, such as herpes simplex. See your dermatologist or oral surgeon for eval and poss tx.

Trauma or infection: Check if she has any cavities in her teeth with sharp margins that can cut her tongue , 
if not then it could be a simple cancer sore on the tongue or a result of an outbreak from git infection.

our 6 month old has what appears to be a small round blister or something on the right side of his tongue. should we be concerned? or is this common?

Infant blister: Infants require their mouth to be cleaned daily just like toddlers and adults. You should use a clean soft damp rag to wipe the tongue , cheeks and gums of the baby. If this does not clear it up, the infant my have thrush and further medical treatment may be in order.

hello, i'm just asking if i should see a doctor about this. on the back of my tongue there are two domeish shape blister looking things kind of side by side, they dont hurt or anything, they are just there. ive had them for about two months or so?

Tongue changes : It's not possible to be sure without seeing it, but you maybe seeing a normal taste bud. In order to be sure you can ask a doctor

painless small blood blisters on the sides of tongue and white coating.......is this a liver problem?

Accepted Answer

No: you may be irritating your tongue with a sharp tooth or filling. In any case see your Oral Care Provider (Dentist)  and stop worrying about liver issues (unless  you have another reason for worry)
