Range of bleeding dx: There are several things that can cause prolonged bleeding from uterine fibroids, or cervical polyps to cancer. If this continues see a GYN MD for assessment.

Not normal: You need a blood preg test and exam and evaluation by your obgyn or an obgyn.

Uti: You could have a bladder infection, you could have a vaginal infection, a combination of the two. You need to be evaluated by your doctor asap.

i am experiencing pain upon insertion & post coital bleeding. i went to the ob & all the tests were negative.its still happening, what should i do?

Endometrial polyps: If there is pain on insertion, then use more lubricant, and try to relax your pelvic muscles (reverse kegel maneuver) to prevent pain and actual trauma to the vaginal skin during intercourse.  If the local OB doctor can't find a cause for your bleeding, then hysteroscopy may be something that you may want to have, to look for endometrial polyps.

upon a physical exam my dr said the anal area was actually quite dry. could this be a cause for the mild anal bleeding? (bright red blood spot/smear)

Possibly: Particularly if lead to the compromise in the integrity of the skin in the perianal area.  This may predispose you to skin breakdown and bleeding from superficial lesions.

Pregnancy: If you have been having regular unprotected sexual intercourse I suggest a home pregnancy test and a GYN exam. If you are old enough to have an erect penis inside your vagina, then you are old enough to use BC pills and condoms. The time frame you give is not compatible with pregnancy so soon; however, do the pregnancy testy and get on BC. Have your sexual partner use condoms- always.

colonoscopy was done with a big polyp high dysplasia that was removed followed by two clear colonoscopies after 6 months and one year . why do i still have rectal bleeding upon defecating occasionally ?

Rectal bleeding: Polyps have the adenoma Benign or pre-cancerous tumor which can become a colon cancer in 20% or more of polyps large is a pile up the more likely it is to turn into cancer dysplasia is pre-cancerous. Rectal bleeding can have serious causes like cancer bleeding disorder inflammatory bowel disease. And annoying  but Usually not life-threateningconditions like hemorrhoids an anal Fissure

Yes: A uterine polyp can cause bleeding. Yes, once removed, her period may return to normal. There is always the possibility that she could have other issues but removing this polyp is the first step.

Bleeding: Post op bleeding occurs with uncertain cause. However the severity of the disease and the expertise and gentleness of the surgeon certainly are factors that are taken into consideration
