<5 mm = good : In general after menopause an endometrial thickness < 5 mm is unlikely to indicate cancer. > 25 mm is very concerning. In between is indeterminate and a biopsy would be the next steps.

ive tried bcps, iuds, nexplanon, the patch, the ring.. basically everything but shots, all varying hormone levels. was fine for 3 years on the pill, but now every single birth control makes me bleed 4+ weeks nonstop. why?!?!?!

Evaluation: I would recommend an evaluation by a gynecologist. This could be primarily a hormone issue, but could be associated with a structural issue- fibroid etc. I would make arrangements to see a provider.

Depends: If you did the test correctly and it was negative 30 days after sex, you are unlikely to be pregnant. To be sure you should get a blood test for HCG level.
Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/.
Get HPV vaccine.

See GYN...: Depends upon what is causing the bleeding; "normal" menses cycle; or dysfunctional uterine bleeding?  Hard to comment without knowing at least your age(which women do not like to reveal :)  and without having examined you.  Better for you to have your existing gyn examine you and then take it from there.

No: No not that day. Bleeding often occurs with iud removal . You could get pregnant soon though.

Makes sense: Presumably, the increased body fat allows for more conversion to estrogen, which has a proliferative/stabilizing effect on the endometrial lining.  ANY irregular menstrual bleeding lasting more than six months requires a complete work up.

Possibly: If postcoital bleeding is being caused by an iud, either by the string irritating the cervix or the iud irritating the lining of the uterus, then removing the iud should solve the problem. If its not the cause of the bleeding then it won't.

Up to 3 months: A copper iud might take up to 3 months because it causes a lot of inflammation. A Progesterone iud should be shorter because the hormone is removed and the lining is shed off sooner.

Progesterone IUDs sometimes can control the bleeding. Others medications such as oral contraceptives, Progesterone and Depoprovera injections can stop them bleeding in some cases. Not more than 7 days: Usually you get withdrawal bleeding for few days after removal. This settles down after few days usually 5 to 7 days.
