A 52-year-old male asked:
How do you measure the endometrial thickness with intrauterine device in patient with pv bleeding. what is the range?

Obstetrics and Gynecology 24 years experience
<5 mm = good : In general after menopause an endometrial thickness < 5 mm is unlikely to indicate cancer. > 25 mm is very concerning. In between is indeterminate and a biopsy would be the next steps.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
