"big black pimples" does not sound like a common skin issue.

Acne: Acne or comedo occurs when the sebaceous gland surrounding the hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. Blackheads are open comedo with oxidized sebum which give it the black color. Ultimately the content of the gland will surface and clear the pimple. I fo not encourage applying manual pressure to pimples, especially in middle of face. OTC Benzoyl Peroxide is a good start.

Hurt yourself??: It sounds like you may have hurt yourself, either like when biting or brushing and it is healing. You could try an over the counter medicine that they sell for teething to see if it soothes but it should heal on its own. If not better in a week or do you should see the dentist, sooner if it gets worse.

There is a group in your city with a 'pigmented nevus clinic' ...Choose a dermatologist or go there.
