Probably unrelated: First, you need to get a reputable company to fix the water leaks that cause mold to grow. Unless the problem has been going on for years, your toddler's problems are probably unrelated. Recurrent ear infections are not rare until the age of 2; a major risk factor is allergy. If ear problems continue, have  your child see a pediatric ENT and board-certified allergist immunologist.

can mold in workplace cause chronic ear infections?

Usually not: There are different kinds of ear infections.  If you are talking about middle ear infections, then it's very unlikely mold is the cause.  You can get fungal outer ear infections, but these tend to come from overuse of qtips (clearing away your protective wax) and overuse of antibiotic ear drops.

More serious ear: When the wax is starting to get black, it most likely is blood tinged.  If blood is being released in any part of the external ear, or typanic membrane (ear drum), a full exam and appropriate tx is needed.  You must see a physician.

i recently found out i have an ear infection. my left ear feels like something in it. is it normal to see black hairs in the ear?(i have a ear scope)

Hairs vs fungus: Everyone has some degree of hair in the outer portion of the ear canal, so that could be totally normal ear hair. With that said, sometimes fungal outer ear infections can have black debris (usually more like dots of black but can be more wiry). If that's what you have, Amoxicillin isn't the treatment and you will need the ear cleaned out (often by an ent) and special drops. Good luck!

18 yrs old- when i stand up from sitting, i get really dizzy to the point where my eyes feel like the room is black. same with lying down- i get dizzy and feel weird. i don't have an ear infection - but have had pain in head really bad for week now?

: If movement of your head (standing up, lying down) causes you to fell "dizzy" with a sensation of spinning or movement, then you likely have something irritating your balance organ (vestibular neuronitis, or labyrinthitis). This can be caused by a viral infection or by shingles, or it can happen spontaneously. If not relieved by rest/holding still or anti-histamines see your doctor.

See ENT: Assuming you have been treated with numerous antibiotics by your doctor, it is now time to see an otolaryngologist (ent).  Recurrent ear infections usually imply that your eustachian tube is blocked (this tube helps drain/decompress your middle ear to the outside world).  An ENT will determine if you tube is blocked via a quick and painless endoscopic procedure in clinic.
