flea bit me in sensitive area a week ago now the center of bites are turning white. no pus, just white. looks like whitehead pimple. already tried vagisil. can i use neosporin on vag area? am i in danger of getting a disease or is this normal?

: Fleas can carry some diseases but rare in US. I would just cover with bandaid unless it looks infected.

Need to see derm-: atologist for culture of lesion to rule out staph, and other infections, as well as bite reactions, and folliculitis hope that helps

? fire ants : Fire ants bites cause burning pain and in some individuals may lead 2 a severe allergic reaction, mainly present in southern us, another possibility inflammation of the hair follicles mis-interpreted as insect bites.

Rash: It is difficult to diagnose a rash without seeing it.  I would see your primary  care physician, and if he or she can't diagnose it, i would see a dermatologist.

Bug bite on leg: Normally bug bites don't get infected unless we scratch and irritate them.     The redness and the "whitehead" are a sign of infection.    I would try some warm water compresses and gentle squeezing of the white head to see if you can "pop" it.    Otherwise  using topical antibiotic ointment (Neosporin)  will help.   These usually resolve without lasting effects   good luck

Needs evaluation: The thin red line suggests lymphangitis and it could spread to your lymph glands and into blood. It would be prudent to have it examined by a doctor to exclude infection spreading from the site of bite. See this site for more info.

Epithelial pearl: Sometimes we find bright white round pearl like bumps on the gum surface. They are not teeth but may be located where they will emerge. They can also be found along the inside of the palate or other sites & are called epithelial pearls. They will disappear over time & don't mean anything bad.

Mosquito: Right after being bitten by a mosquito you may develop a soft white bump than later transitions into a hard, brown (reddish-brown) or a blister or bruising. There may be itching &amp; swelling around the lesion.

i have what looks exactly like a white head just outside my lower lip. i have similar looking whitehead on my cheek as well which ive had before so i know its comedone. cooks lip one because cold sore? i had cold sore exactly here 2 weeks back?

: This doesn't sound like herpes -- and oral herpes (cold sores) almost never recur as soon as 2 weeks. Don't worry about it.

Hard to be specific: This could represent an allergic response to some chemical irritant, like those found in body wash, shampoos, etc. It could be a local invasion of hair follicles by skin germs. If it doesn't improve with routine cleaning over several days I would have it looked at. A specific cream or oral med may be needed to end it.
