i have biliary calculees (stones). is there any medicine that could disolve and eliminate these stones?

Not efficiently: Prior to the laparoscopic cholecystectomy/ercp era there was a class of medications that were tauted to be able to dissolve gallstones if they had specific criteria(3 or less, cholesteral type stones less tha 1 cm) . However, this medication(a bile salt dissolution agent) if successfull had to be taken the rest of your life, otherwise the stones would return.

Biliary dyskinesia: Sphincter of oddi dysfunction, or biliary dyskinesia, is defined by bile duct manometry showing sphincter spasm, increased phasic contraction frequency (tachyoddia), paradoxical contraction response to cck, & abnormal propagation of phasic waves. Response to sphincterotomy is predicted by associated abnornalities in serum liver functions as well as manometry findings.Pain alone may not so respond.

what is biliary atresia and how is it treated?

Absence of bile duct: The liver makes bile and the bile cannot get into the intestine.  Treatment is removing the bad/scarred duct area at the edge of the liver and sew up a piece of intestine.  If it is successful, bile will begin to flow into the intestine.  If not, liver becomes very hard and transplant will be necessary.  Also, earlier surgery gives best outcome.
