Mucocele possibly: The bump on the side of your mouth might be a mucocele. It is a clear bump filled with salvia. Caused when the duct to a minor salivary gland gets clogged and the saliva backs up. Most common on the lower lip but can occur elsewhere in the mouth. Ussually resolve on their own. Some times large ones require surgical removal. Bumps on the back of your tongue are probably normal vallate taste buds.

Examination: To play it safe, get it looked at. A white coating on the tongue is fairly common and the bumps you see may be the normal presence of large taste buds. Without seeing you, however, it is impossible to know if there is an issue requiring treatment. At the very least get a tongue scraper and see if it cleans up at all.

my 2 year old son bangs his head when falling asleep and waking up. to a point where he has this big bump on the back of his head and it sticks out..its red and even has hair missing. will his skull be like that permanently?

Actually normal: Head banging among babies and toddlers is actually a normal behavior. Some children do this around nap time or bedtime, almost as a self-soothing technique. Try padding the area lightly where he bangs his head. You may also want to talk to his Pediatrician to evaluate the bump and hair loss. Children usually grow out of this behavior by age 5 with no permanent deformations.

Bumps on Body: It is very difficult to advice you what these bumps are, without knowing the size, the colour, the feel, and any other associated features and conditions.These may be benign cysts or sme benign tumours.But i will advice you to see your family doctor and let him/her check you and advice you what exactly, it could be.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It may be inflammation of a hair follicle. If it does not get better in a couple of days, it would be prudent to see a doctor. If it ruptures, apply triple antibiotic cream to the raw area.  Wish you good health!

2 weeks ago i was given a zpack to treat bronchitis, now i have had a sore throat for three days along with big bumps on the back of my tongue,normal?

Possibly related: One of the causes of bumps on the tongue and sore throat would be oral thrush or a yeast/fungal infection. This is more likely after antibiotic use when the bacterial flora in the mouth/body is altered. It might also represent an unusual form of drug allergy, or just be normal. I would probably ask my doctor to have a look at them. Good luck!
