i have a big painful bump on my inner thigh bikini area, it's like hard ish at the bottom but then at the top it's red and squishy. i shave every week?

Folliculitis: if the bump is in an area where you shave, it is most likely an infected hair follicle, folliculitis. Try using a hot compress on the area to reduce the inflammation and it will go away with time. Taking Advil (ibuprofen) would help pain. Avoid shaving. consider getting tested for STDs.

i have a lot of small and very few big bumps on my inner upper thigh closer to my groin area. sometimes they contain pus. is it just razor burn?

----Lust for pus----: If you shaved there, then yes, it could be. But razor burn that has become infected. If it doesn't go away in a few days after a few good scrubs with soap and washcloth then you will most likely need an antibiotic. It may be something else, but with infection comes pus so no matter what it is, it needs to be evaluated by a doctor. P.S.: After scrubbing, apply a thin layer of an antibiotic ointment

Probably not herpes: There are several causes of blister-like skin problems other than herpes. And you&#x27;re exactly right, that herpes doesn&#x27;t generally cause large blisters. Also, herpes oubreaks would not be so spread out, i.e. pubic area and thigh. See a doctor, ideally a dermatologist.

Bump: It appears that you may have impetigo or folliculitis of your thigh. First, stop popping the pimples. You are spreading the infection that way. Second, take baths with warm soapy water to which you have added 3-4 tablespoons of household bleach.  After the bath apply antibiotic ointment to your pimples.If pimples spread or enlarge, consult your doctor for possible oral antibiotics
