Depends on : The problem. If just decay then a filling should do. If deep decay then perhaps removal of some of the decay with a sedative dressing being placed to allow the root to finish formation and in 6 months a final filling with removal of the remaining decay, sometimes a root canal with apexification so the root finishes forming. As always brushing is paramount.

Low chances: Studies show that tooth movements occurred at a decreasing rate between 18-35 years of age.  Your  jaw stops growing around 18 years of age.  That said, healthy teeth can be moved at any age with orthodontics.  The odds that the gap would spontaneously close is very unlikely

Delayed eruption?: It's most likely a primary (baby) molar that came out but your friend would need to be personally examined by a dentist to determine which tooth came out and if it's normal or not. X-rays would also be necessary to determine if this is part of a delayed eruption pattern or something more.

: You may want o consider a dental implant and crown to replace the tooth entirely. To move the two molars behind that space towards the mesial is a tall order even with orthodontics.

Save it: Other teeth may drift into the defect, but will not be straight. Food trap will cause periodontal problems in the long run. It will cost more to replace it than fix it.

Bonding too "thick!": A "thick" / "high" bonding can easily "throw off" your bite.  In the "good old days, " silver mercury fillings  were initially  "soft" and tended to "self adjust" (or fracture) during the first few minutes after placement.  However, bonded "white" fillings are immediately hardened by light.  Often a patient's "numb'd" tooth won't  indicate a correct bite.  A quick bite adjustment is all you need!

i had a root canal 3yrs ago on ur biscupid tooth. i couldnt afford to get it crowned at the time. what can happen from not doing  that. i plan to soon?

RT Therapy: Teeth that have undergone root canal therapy are more brittle than vital teeth and can fracture vertically, especially bicuspid teeth. Recurrent decay on these restored teeth can go unnoticed since there would be no sensitivity associated with the decay. The sooner you restore the tooth properly the better the chances that it will remain intact.

: This depends on your physical and mental health. Are all the wisdom teeth fully impacted?, are you in good health, and not on any medications?, will you be getting IV anesthesia?, the oral surgeon will advise you what is in your best interest. Your health is important not how many teeth to extract at one time.
