Avoid sun :-): While most sunscreens are oil based, they should not have too much of an effect on acne.  You may do better with the zinc or titanium oxide screens as well.  Ideally wide brimmed hats, sitting in shade, wearing appropriate sunglasses, and avoiding excess sun exposure is your best bet.  Be especially careful if you take Doxycycline for acne which can make your skin more susceptible to burn.

Seek medical care for severe pain, fever, lack of improvement of symptoms within several days or if a large surface area is blistered.

The basics : Treat as you would any mild burn by keeping the area clean &amp; applying comfort lotions. Find a better sunscreen. The sunscreens are rated by amount of protection from UVA &amp; UVB rays. Ratings go from about 8 on the low end up to 50 or so. Also apply 30 min before going out so it activates &amp; reapply often. Even the waterproof ones loose effect when you sweat them off.

Keep the skin well hydrated with a moisturiser (does not need to be expensive) and take paracetamol as directed on the packet if necessary. Drink enough water so that you are not thirsty. Make sure to not burn again as every burn increases your cancer risk!
