Keep the skin well hydrated with a moisturiser (does not need to be expensive) and take paracetamol as directed on the packet if necessary. Drink enough water so that you are not thirsty. Make sure to not burn again as every burn increases your cancer risk!

Sun burn: 1. Use ice to cool down the skin 2. Moisturise the skin 3.use NSAIDs like brufen to reduce inflammation 4.replenish fluids- keep hydrated.

Avoidance: If you do have it also vera with or without lidocaine. Other moisturizing creams can help. Vitamin E and C can help. Wearing breathable loose cotton can make things easier. For pain ibuprofen and paracetamol will also help.
