I work at an amusement park and my sun screen does not work anymore, i have sunburns on my legs. what is the best way to treat and prevent this?

The basics : Treat as you would any mild burn by keeping the area clean & applying comfort lotions. Find a better sunscreen. The sunscreens are rated by amount of protection from UVA & UVB rays. Ratings go from about 8 on the low end up to 50 or so. Also apply 30 min before going out so it activates & reapply often. Even the waterproof ones loose effect when you sweat them off.
