It contains resveratrol which has been linked to numerous health benefits including: prevention against cardiovascular disease, maintaining memory and preventing dementia, improving sleep, helping fight against cholesterol. All of this in combination with a Mediterranean diet high in omega three fatty acids, fish, vegetables have been shown to help.

It very well may be: BUT there are serious cautions. If you really kept it to 4-5 ounces and didn't go on to gradually drink more and more, it would probably be fine....even good! But we (doctors) see SO MANY people not be able to keep to this modest amount. There is some evidence that red wine is superior to other forms of alcohol but this evidence is weak. A MODEST daily amount is not harmful; it may well be helpful

None: Alcohol is a poison and never did anybody any good, ever.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Well.............: Health benefits of alcohol intake include wine, beer and liquor (not including what you mix it in).  Red wine is not significantly better.  Studies show that people who drink 1-2 standard size beverages a day have better cardiovascular outcomes than those who do not.  One standard beverage is 12 oz beer, 5 oz wine, or 1.5 oz liquor.  Any day with more than 2 is not as good, so more is not better.
