whatever he ate, he brought up.
he seems fine right now.

Observe: Watch for any changes in his usual appearance and if there are any changes, please see your physician right away. If there was choking with the ingestion, this increases the possibility of aspiration into the airway. In this case, please see your physician right away.

Best to be safe.: I would try to keep children away from as many types of fumes as possible. They can irritate the linings of the nose and lungs and are often allergenic to young children.

i had spilled nail polish remover on my floor. i did my best to clean it up and air out my room. the smell persisted for about a week. is it harmful to smell or inhale it in that manner?

: If it was usual size bottle 236 -400 Ml, not much should be left as it evaporates quickly. Nail polish remover is mostly acetylene so clean the surface with soap and hot water. Hope it helps.

: Discuss with rinsing the eye with lukewarm running water with acute care. The eye may be red, painful and she should be evaluated.

Fungal Nails: Fungal infection of the nails is common, & no otc meds are proven to clear it. That said, it is usually a cosmetic problem & not a functional one. Nail polish won't hurt & will cover up the problem, which is often enough. There are medicines that can clear fungus from nails, but they can be expensive, & interact w/other meds. See your dr for more information.

i'm having a fulkerson osteotomy january 8th, i know no nail polish on my hands, but can i have it on my toes? if no, why not?

Ok on the toes: Make-up and nail polish hinder the surgeon’s ability to monitor your well being during surgery.  Since you cannot communicate with the surgeon on how you are feeling, the surgeon will monitor the signs from your body to let them know.

Fingernail Polish – When you’re in surgery, you will have a probe placed on the end of your finger to read the oxygen level

Maybe : Remove the nail polish. Use some Benadryl for the itching and swelling. See if that helps. If not or if things worsen, swelling spreads all over or you have trouble breathing then see a doctor.
