Not one choice but: The only vitamin which appears to have the greatest potential in regulating the immune system is vitamin d3. The lower normal limit in blood vitamin d3 level is targeted towards the bone since a higher level is likely needed for immune function. Other supplements such as zinc, beta carotene, Folic Acid etc have been touted as immune boosters but the evidence is very weak.

No vitamins: Vitamins are not needed at any age unless you have a proven deficiency. It's been shown in a recent study that patients taking vitamins "just because" were at a higher risk for dying. 
Your food should provide you with enough vitamins and if you have any diseases that are causing vitamin deficiency, they need to be identified and treated accordingly.

Not needed; consciou: For the "average" individual without any health problems eating a Western diet, multivitamins aren't needed. There are exceptions, of course - you should be checked for Vitamin D deficiency if you live in the snow belt, for instance. But the average diet provides all the vitamins you need. People get more health conscious over 50; advertisers know that &amp; target vitamin ads for that reason. TTYD GL

Men have different health needs: Than women. The supplement for women's health that deals with hormonal balance is not the same as the ones used to support men's prostate health. On the other hand, many of the ingredients in centrum is too low to be effective in either sex. So, it may not matter. This also goes for many of the costco multivitamin formulations, unless it's from a reputable brand that has higher rda's.

Vitamins: A good multivitamin is a good idea.  It's like an insurance policy for when we don't eat right, don't sleep well, or are especially stressed.  Go to a good store or get some guidance because the popular brands are typically very week and not helpful. I don't know about Opti-Men unless I read the label. See doctor about hypertension and consider a natural product called Kyolic formula 109. xai jian
