Please see below.: Getting to the pineal region surgically can be very challenging and often risky. Sometimes it can be done minimally invasively via  endoscopic techniques. This would explain why many neurosurgeons were reluctant to operate. If you had this surgery a week ago and you're good enough neurologically to be typing questions online you're doing great.

Be flexible: Have a plan and be ready to change it. Having a baby works just like other aspects of our lives. We prepare and make plans and then life happens, and  we are forced to deal with whatever situation is in front of us. Communicate with your doctor what is important to you. Make a plan and then be flexible so you can enjoy the experience.

Labor: The best time to go to the hospital is when you are having contractions that are coming regularly,about 10-15 min apart. This also depends on how far away you are from the hospital.  There is no one position that is best for labor. Everyone is differently.
