Be flexible: Have a plan and be ready to change it. Having a baby works just like other aspects of our lives. We prepare and make plans and then life happens, and we are forced to deal with whatever situation is in front of us. Communicate with your doctor what is important to you. Make a plan and then be flexible so you can enjoy the experience.

Go to a good doc: And a good hospital and express your desires about everything long before you go into labor but make sure you trust your doc because nature does not always work right and u may end up with a c-section even if u want a vaginal delivery so u have to trust the expertise and judgement of your doc or midwife.
