2nd trimester +: The pregnant uterus is contained under the pubic symphysis bone and is NOT pal[pable externally until the 2nd trimester. (week 14+) when the uterus rises above that landmark.

Prenatal care: Hopefully you are getting prenatal care. This is a great question to ask your obgyn. They can measure your uterus to make sure it is growing appropriately. If there is any doubt then they can schedule you for a sonogram to make sure all is well.

i'm 9 months pregnant, nine days away from due date and my belly is hard all the time. i saw the baby at 8 months and he was sitting, is normal that my belly is hard most of the time? does it means he wants to get out?

: It means the uterus is stretched out and there is not much room. Babies don't think about getting out, it just happens, and they begin to witness the world around them. Before then, they drift in and out of various sleep states in a darkened setting. True thinking starts when they are out.

Discuss with doc: Back aches are quite common in pregnancy. Ask your obgyn if you are under any restrictions. If not then your doctor can clear you to exercise however you please and however you are able.

Can I be Pregnant: There is nothing about having a swollen abdomen and diagnosing pregnancy.  Early pregnancy would not include a swollen and hard abdomen. But this discussion is moot. If you were sexual during your ovulation and you have missed a period then it is time to do a pregnancy test. Pregnancy tests are how pregnancy is diagnosed.

YerBabyWillSurviveU: The tight stomach is your reaction to the anxiety.More importantly anxiety, fear,stress, etc send stress hormones throughout your body and into your baby. They get your body all charged up to act or move but if just for anxiety, then your immune system goes whacky and the stage is set for premature aging if that stress becomes your friend. So no guilt if you make stress your enemy. Get help for it
