Beer and prednisone: It is not recommended to take alcohol while on steroids due to the increased risk of GI bleeding.  There is no proven risk in studies. Both however, cause gastric irritation predisposing you to GI ulceration

Prednisone: Although Drugs.com does not show an interaction between alcohol &amp; prednisone - I would check with your physician to ensure that alcohol use is safe with your medical conditions. Take care.

No: Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

There : There is no official interaction between Prednisone and alcohol, but alcohol weakens the stomach lining, as does prednisone, so in theory, you're more apt to get a stomach ulcer by mixing the two.  The safest thing to do is avoid alcohol while on the prednisone.

Mgt: Prednisone may be associated with stomach upset, GI bleeding/irritation. Your medication list also includes aspirin. I would suggest watching for any pain, bleeding or fever while on the medications. A one time additional dose, probably will not result in any symptoms.

No: Avoid all alcohol while on bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim). It is also advisable to avoid alcohol while on prednisone.

Prednisone: Prednisone does suppress the Immune system.  However it depends on how much and for how long.  As a rule within 2 to 4 weeks your immune system should bounce back to normal. People on prednisone or recovering from being on prednisone usually do no have to avoid people.
