2-3 weeks: When baker cyst ruptures hopefully it will not come back. We have to treat the reason behind the cyst which most likely cartilage tears or damage or arthritis.

Lasix (furosemide)?: Lasix (furosemide) of Furosemide helps your body excrete fluid from the kidneys (it's a loop diuretic) and works best when you have extra fluid in the legs (peripheral edema), so i'm not sure if it'll help with the baker's cyst fluid since it's more of a localized fluid that will go away with time and compression as well as surgical removal.

Yes strange!: A Baker's cyst is often associated with internal derangement of the knee and a "rupture" releases some joint fluid but this should NOT affect your foot and ankle. You need to see an Orthopedist or Sport's Medicine Specialist for an evaluation of your symptoms sooner rather than later!

Yes it could: When you rupture a baker cyst, the fluids go down by gravity into the calf muscle and sometime cause pain in the calf muscles area.

Bakers cyst: A bakers cyst could cause a DVT in people who are predisposed to have coagulation problems.
You should not be worried about a DVT if there are not risk factors for it. For example, taking birth control pills predisposes patients to have coagulation problems.
A DVT usually causes symptoms like pain and edema.

Popliteal pain: You did mention many of the significant possibilities . May also be due to meniscus tear, tendinosis. Since there is concern for DVT, and especially if you are on birth control pills would get ultrasound- that can evaluate for DVT and Baker's cyst, effusion( fluid)  For meniscus tear,  tendinosis  need MRI.   Follow up with  MD

The cyst usually communicates with the knee via a small hole in the capsule or via the base of a tear in a meniscus. The knee makes fluid normally, but osteoarthritis or a mensical tear can cause an increase in fluid production, thus increasing pressure. The pathway of least resistance is out the back of the knee where a cyst forms.
