Not really: Did you get the shot in your buttock?  If so, this can sometimes result in irritation to the sciatic nerve, or you can develop a tender point in the gluteus muscles.  Best to contact the office where you received the shot and inform then and ask for advice.

Exam needed: The original skin reaction to the tetanus injection shouldn't keep recurring. This may be a foreign body reaction or a small blood clot formed under the skin which hardened and repeated irritation may be occurring. A physician or dermatologist could advise you after examining this site.

Scraped leg: By all means get to the doctor asap because you have an infection in your leg which must be treated immediately. If you have not had a tetanus shot in the last ten years, get one.

Depends: If she has received the primary series including the DtaP given at 15 months, she would already be protected. Some don't give that dose until 18 mo so she may be due. Be aware that tetanus is not as common with human bites as other infections, so increasing redness, swelling, etc. may require other treatment.

i was bitten by my cat about 17 days ago. didnt get a tetanus shot until about 1&1/2 wks. later the site looks fine. but im having burning. and discomfort in my spine. do you think it could be the tetanus bacteria.?

Unlikely, but...: If you had any prior tetanus vaccines, the odds of contracting tetanus is slim. But, if you are having spasms & stiffness in your jaw muscles, neck muscles, or abdominal muscles; or, if you're having difficulty swallowing--this would be worrisome. Painful body spasms, lasting for several minutes, triggered by minor occurrences, such as a draft, loud noise, physical touch or light, then beware.

Months ago?: While there are cases of late occurring tetanus, it's uncommon. I would have expected a problem to develop long before now.  But you do need a tetanus shot to keep your immunization status current.

Don't worry: No need to worry that the injury caused tetanus at this point,  
You are, however, overdue for a booster so please see your doctor for one now.  Be sure o catch up on all your vaccines.
Tetanus is not likely to result from  clean nail in an attic.

TMJ: Your jaw is locked because the disk in the TMJ is displaced. See yoou dentist, as for a referral to a TMJ doc. See a TMJ-orofacial pain expert to help evaluate and treat your problem. A TMJ-oro-facial pain expert can be general dentist, an oral surgeon, prosthodontist, orofacial pain specialist. Ask your physician, dentist or dental society for a recommendation.

hello! i recently had surgery late friday night ever since then my back and chest has hurt so bad i have a dry cough, also my arms are so sore feels like i've had a tetanus shot in each arms they are achy not sure what's going on ?

Unsure: It is difficult to say, given this little information. Whether it is to be expected or not depends on what the surgery was for, what type of anesthesia was used, your general medical health/fitness, etc.
