i have pinched nerves in lower back. could this cause pain and numbness all the way down left leg and into foot? mainly in shin.

PInched Nerve: The sciatic nerve is not the cause of the pain source, it is the result of an irritated nerve typically in the lumbar spine (low back) which are caused by herniated disks, spinal stenosis or degenerative disc disease requiring further evaluation by a spine specialist.  Erectile dysfunction suggests a significantly pinched nerve(s)  i would investigate obtaining an MRI and see specialist soon.

my lt leg is not syncing with my rt leg. i walk with a slight limp. when i run my lt foots slaps the ground.  there is a numbness when i touch the foot or leg. i think i have a pinched nerve. i have had a back opportunity. they fused vertebrae.

Spine Surgery: Studies show that after spine surgery you can have migration of pedicle screws or other hardware, fracture near the site, or new disc herniation or hardware compression on a spinal nerve. If you have numbness on the inside of your thighs or incontinence you should be seen in the ER, otherwise call your spine surgeon and get a consultation scheduled promptly.

Lumbar stenosis: Lumbar stenosis can present with severe back pain that radiates to the buttock or legs down to the feet. May be associated with numbness and weakness. Causes are disc bulging or herniation, bony osteophytes (spur), spondylolisthesis, ligament hypertrophy. Check with your physician for proper diagnosis and treatment.

? Spinal cord: Given the history i would wonder whether a spinal cord problem can be causing the symptoms. If that is so usually there is some disturbance in bowel or bladder function. There may also be imbalance and weakness in the lower extremities.  Please have a thorough neurologic exam to determine the need for imaging of your spine.  Good luck and well wishes.

Right sciatica: Your symptoms suggest right sciatic nerve irritation. It is commonly due to degenerative disease of spine ( osteoarthritis) and or herniated disc. Arthritis of si joint may can also cause similar symptoms as sciatic nerve travels in the vicinity. See a neurologist.

Leg numbness: Pinched nerves in both legs would be unusual. I'm concerned about spinal cord pathology, severe neuropathy or demyelinating disease like multiple sclerosis. Charcot- Marie- Tooth disease is a hereditary form of neuropathy which affects the long nerves first causing leg and foot weakness. Numbness can also occur. Your neurologist can advise you.best.

i have a pinched siatica nerve. does that cause numbness in the whole leg? i get numb in the leg and foot when i run. also sometimes when i sleep.

It's possible: Most likely condition would be a pinched nerve.  The nerves that supply the feet stem from nerve branches traveling from the leg.  The "pinch" could be from the back at its root, but it an also be locally due to musculature.  Another thing to be checked is circulation because if blood flow is hampered to a an area, it can cause pain and reduce function in the nerves.  Get checked properly.

i suffer from continuous lower back pain,
from myself i lost 30kg's and gym 5 times a week. the pain in my lower back does not subsides and the numbness in my legs and feet is still there. 
what must/can i do?

Sounds like you: might have early SPINAL STENOSIS.  You should contact your PCP and request a lumbar MRI .

Nerves: Typically numbness points to nerves.  Numbness associated with weakness is concerning for spine disease (pinched nerves).  You should consult a physician for evaluation sooner rather than later.

Deal with the back!: Your symptom may be due to impingement of the nerve root off the spine by the herniated disc. If left untreated, it may never go away or in fact worsen.
