Irritated nerve?: If there is pain, tingling, numbness, or electrical sensations felt when a person moves her head or neck in a particular direction, she may be irritating or compressing a nerve coming out of the spinal cord. A neurologist or a physiatrist (physical medicine and rehabilitation) doctor can figure out the problem and start therapy. Sometimes neck x-rays and / or MRI are needed.

Nothing to worry : Sunken veins on forehead may be normal and there is nothing to worry about.But at the next Appontment with your doctors let them look at it to find out if anything needs to be done about it

Need to rule : Out seizure. Have baby get checked out. It may just be benign . Do need to know onset, duration

Yes: Yes, blisters certainly can be a feeding blister or feeding callous.  It could also represent something else.  If it persists or the child has other worrisome symptoms (such as fever, lethargy, poor feeding, etc...) then the child should be examined by a physician.

i'm a nursing mother to a 9 month old baby. i want to go to the salon and have my hair colored or something soon. is it safe (for baby) if i go and get my hair colored, dyed, bleached or treated at a hair salon? i only ask this because i am nursing?

: It should be fine, but avoid chemical odors around the baby in general. Continue to nurse, remember your 9 month old check up with your Pediatrician.  At this age, the baby should have a healthy well balanced diet which incorporates baby food for age three times daily. Review the growth chart at the next visit, and eligible family members should have a COVID 19 vaccination series.

i have cold sores on my mouth and suspect it has spread further down into my throat, i'm nursing my baby, what can i do?

See a Dentist and...: See a dentist for a diagnosis and they can work with your baby's doctor to find a solution for your cold sores which will not interfere with your nursing.  I like using coconut oil as a mouth rinse.  Swish a teaspoon of coconut oil for 5 minutes and spit out... Repeat 3 times to help clean your mouth.  While it is not high tech it is soothing and can help you to have a very clean mouth.

is it safe for a nursing baby and reasonable for the mother to get lasik eye surgery if she has had no change in her eye prescription from pregnancy?

Should not be a pbm: The procedure and eyedrops, etc. Involved in the lasik procedure should not affect the breast milk production or baby in any way. Whether it is reasonable to get the procedure is a question for your pocket book & your specific situation.Your doc can provide the pros & cons & you come up with a decision based on the information you have.

Erythema: The top of a baby's head is where they generate the most heat and has a large body service area compared to an older child.  It is certainly appropriate for you to notice redness or warmth when your baby is nursing.

i had my newborn in bed with me nursing and had my head turned. i turned around and she was screaming and bright red. can she get hypoxia from breastfeeding? im a very worried momma?

: You don't get bright red from hypoxia &amp; you don't get it breastfeeding.

Unlikely : Although this may have frightened you I doubt it did much to baby. The back of the heat is thick &amp; more tolerant to trauma in general than most of the body. The lack of personality change/cry is also good evidence that it did not bother the kid. I wouldn't devote any  more worry to this at all.
