See your doctor.: Swelling could be caused by many things such as an allergic reaction, heart disease, lung disease or kidney problems. Electrolyte disturbances or water retention can cause swelling and maybe caused by some drugs or medications. In addition, people who have low levels of protein in their circulation may have swelling of their soft tissues. It is best to see your physician for an evaluation.

If you have allergy: To the numbing medicine used during an epidural. If your tongue swells and you have hard time breathing, go to the er. If the symptom is mild, it will get better on it's own.

Yes: Many people are allergic to a variety of preservative agents, particularly sulfites and bisulfites, which are found in many forms of distilled spirits.  Facial swelling can be one of the symptoms, and more severe symptoms can occur with continued exposure.  I would avoid whatever liquor caused this, and stay away from many wines as well. An allergist would be your best advisor.

: Yes it can but only when used for long period of time(over one month or longer).
Short terms use of Dexamethasone or any corticosteroid(2 weeks or less) is unlikely to cause swelling of the face. This type of swelling is caused by fluid retention which is common with the use of excess dose of steroids or due to excess production of steroids in the body( this condition is called Cushing's Syndrome)

2-3 days: If the problem is indeed related to allergy (usually from food or drug) , it should subside within 2-3 days.  However most cases of swelling are not related to food allergy.

Seek a DENTIST: Swelling is not going away by itself so you call your dentist for exam and be placed on antibiotics than treatment for abscess.

Periorbital  edema: Very typical that with head injury one gets craniofacial trauma. Swelling normal and will get better three days after incident.

May not go away: Facial swelling needs to be taken very seriously. It does not usually resolve on its own. In fact, the infection can spread to other vital organs in your body such as your heart, lungs, kidneys and brain. It could ultimately land you in the hospital or lead to death. If it is tooth related see a dentist immediately. If not go to the er of the closest hospital. Please don't delay, time is flying.

I do not think so: Late for any reaction to happened. Beside this not common side effect of that injection.
