Avulsion vs. Jone's: Avulsion fracture of the any metatarsal will take about 4-6 weeks to heal. However, if the base of the 5th metatarsal is broken this might be jone's fracture. In that case without surgical intervention, 6-8 weeks since there is not enough blood supply to this part of the bone.

Very simple Cam Boot: Avulsions: common due to numerus capsular and ligamentous attachments to the cuboid.
Treatment: 5-7 days nwb, elevation followed by progressive weight bearing and functional rehab, using simple cam boot. For 3 weeks.

Dancer's Fracture.: This sounds like a fracture know as a dancers fracture. With a walking cast boot and guarded ambulation, count on about 6 weeks for the bone to be strong enough to bear weight without the boot. It could take as much as 8 to 12 weeks tor total recovery and  thus back to normal activity.

: You could have which commonly misdiagnosed as a subluxation of the cuboid bone. There are a few people in the country that consider this to exist. Dr. Stanley Newall. A podiatrist in Seattle Washington Wrote a very good article on this very topic. I found that a limited range of motion in a clockwise and counterclockwise position is pathognomonic for subluxation of the cuboid
