autism and seizures - where can i find information on seizures and neurologists?

CALL: This is interesting because I am not sure what the autism and the seizure have to do with one another unless you are saying that you have both. Call up the medical society in your particular community. Or go to your local hospital and ask there for a referral.
The neurologist can discuss seizures or you can google it and read various sites. Maybe one of the neurologists on the panel can respond.

MPH has a slight : Risk of lowering the seizure threshhold. Start with a very low dose of vyvanse; it often causes fewer side  effects than its active ingredient,  Adderall xr. 20 mg. Of vyanse = ~ 6.5 mg. Of Adderall xr. Onset  of action is 2 hrs.; duration is 12-14 hrs. Intuniv 1mg. Or strattera (atomoxetine) 10 mg.  With very slow titration works in ~ 4-6 wks., when a low-dose stimulant often can be added without side effects.

my son suffered a skull fracture at 4 weeks, which caused him to have seizures. will this cause him to have autism?

The location & size: Of the damaged area of the brain + degree of recovery determine potential impairment from  injury. Changes in the nerve cells & their connections in the fetal brain, not visible on mri, predispose a child to have autism; if not present, autism is unlikely. Work with his early intervention therapists to promote his development; at his age, he can "recruit" undamaged areas & may do quite well.

Question is unclear: I'm not sure i understand what you are asking.  You describe an 11 year old child with adhd on an antipsychotic and an amphetamine.  The Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is most likely being used to treat the adhd.  I'm not sure why she is on the risperdal, and i'm not sure what you are referring to as to is this (what) a seizure.  Please clarify.

i get migraines daily use excedrine to treat them i am asthmatic and seizure adhd asperger autism and want to try mild hbot is that safe for asthmatic?

Daily migraines: I'm not sure what hbot is. Perhaps hyperbaric oxygen therapy? Regardless, person to ask about safety of some proposed medication/treatment/surgery as it applies to you is person suggesting it for you. In other words, ask whoever is going to provide you w/hbot what they know w/regards to use in asthma. Not Directly...: The answer is more complicated though...A child with developmental or neurologic problems often has a higher risk of having epilepsy.  Ilness/infection/fever lower the threshold for triggering a seizure in someone with a seizure disorder.  This would seem to need evaluation by a pediatric neurologist as well as an ent.

Who knows!: So sorry about your son. All of his conditions you could think might cause a shorter life span for all sorts of reasons, but with good care  one never knows. Accidents, poor nutrition ( because he doesn't eat well), progressive brain deterioration if repeated seizures, infections, general stress with its harmful physical effects, all could contribute to premature death. Multiple conditions: It sounds like your son has many challenges. You do not mention his age, but the under age 3 the early intervention program and over 3 your local school district provide services at no charge. Families with exceptional children have a lot of stress so make sure to take care of yourself. Check with your sons doctor for local services that can help you.

Since medical marijuana is now legal in Nevada, affected families don't have to leave home. My hometown has  always  promoted cohort situational behaviors in visitors, leaving the visitors feeling slightly naughty &amp; happy &amp; us with no state income tax.

ASD is a developmental disorder with a range of symtoms, but include difficulty with comminication and interaction  with others. is associated with repetitive behaviors or limited interests or activities, begins before age 2 and is severe enough to interfere with social functioning.
