About 50%: Generally the data tends to show about 50%of individuals have an iq below 70 with is the lower end or normal.That means tha tabout 50% of people with autism have an iq in the normal or above normal range.

: There have been a few clinical trials of naltrexone in a low dose  in children with autism , which did  show improvement in behaviour and social skills , but not much on learning . It is  still not  commonly used for this  as we need more studies to  evaluate the long term  benefits and risks , though so far the main side  effect has  been increased sedation.

Possibly: Mitochondrial disorders can have varying symptoms.  Ptosis, hypotonia and muscle issues are a common finding.  Autism or cognitive impairment is often also associated with certain mitochondrial disorders.  Prealbumin may relate to altered metabolism due to the mitochondrial disorder.  Suggest discussing more formal genetic testing with a geneticist.

: Giving Naltrexone to autistic children is still in the experimental phase of trials. It is definitely not something that should be done at home without medical guidance. Talk to the child's Pediatrician for the best options in each situation as they will have the ability to assess and follow any medical interventions. Other treatments involving occupational and social therapy show  great results.

: Researchers have tried a variety of medications in the past decades to assist these impairments of function with inconsistent results. Most patients have a unique expression of their disorder and may or may not respond to a trial of ADHD meds. If tried any benefit should be noticeable within the first days of a trial. I doubt it would be a benefit but each case is unique.

: Naltrexone in low doses (one tenth of the normal starting dose: 2.5-5 mg, has been shown to improve symptoms of autism.  Consult your pediatrician for recommended starting dose.

Learning disability: Children born <32 weeks can often have some learning problems. Premature birth as a stand alone risk factor does not increase autism or schizophrenic risk that I am aware. Family history may and other factors- but not being born early...
