Simply apply: This is as strong a combination of topical agents as you can get for acne, and you should get a good result. If it's not sufficient, your physician can add a systemic Rx. Manage your disease until it remits on your own. I was able to stop medication when I was 50. Best wishes.

Differin: Differin [adapalene] 0.1% cream and gel is now OTC.  $12 for 1/2oz. $30 for 1 1/2oz. It is more effective and less irritating. You can use any moisturizer with Atralin or Differin.

That's good: Ratinoic acid and spironolactone are a very good combination for acne esepcially in females.

Irritating : The names like Retin A, Retin A Micro, Renova, Refissa, Atralin etc.  Are all the same medication in different bases, like a gel, lotion or cream, and strengths. The stronger the strength the more irritating it is. Usually Atralin would be prescribed for oilier, acne prone, teen age skin.

Differin: Atralin is an expensive brand of tretinoin, no better than a less expensive generic. Now you can get OTC Differin [adapalin] for $12. It is more effective and less irritating than tretinoin. You can get it in larger size for higher price.

i used 2 pore strips on my nose about 1 mo. ago and pores on nose became enlarged. i have rx for atralin and acanya. will they go back to normal?

It is not length of one's life that matters, but the quality of the life lived. The goal is not to live a long life, but to live a good life.
