i have a 15 hour flight ahead of me and i need to sleep, or ill suffer migraine. can i take .50mg ativan with 1 tab dimenhydrinate safely for sleep?

Either or : For travel ( anxiety and sleep ) Ativan 0.5 mg - 1 mg while boarding ok. DO NOT combine with alcohol and/ or Benadryl . It would cause too much of drowziness and as" hangover" . You ned to arrive rested but not totaly Groggy. Talk to your doc how much Ativan can you use for trip like this.  Make sure you move few legs andget to bathroom. Prevnetion of blood cloths. Also keep hydrated.

is it normal if i can still feel a migraine and vertigo underneath ativan (lorazepam) and prednisone? what could cause this? nerve block made it worse.

Anxiety: The most common cause of chronic nausea and dizziness is anxiety, and that can lead to lower of pain threshold. Would try relaxation methods such as meditation and biofeedback.

could  titrating too quickly from ativan,topomax,and klonopin (clonazepam) after taking it for years cause permenant vertigo and migraines?i never had this before?

Stopping all of: these medications quickly can cause serious withdrawal symptoms.  Vertigo are often caused by inner ear problems, such as Eustachian tube dysfunction, or stroke so I'm not inclined to think that it could be related to withdrawal from these drugs.  Migraines? Yes, as topomax is often used in headache prevention, and it has anti-seizure qualities as well.  Hope this helps.

Yes: Ativan (lorazepam) is a benzodiazipine, this class of meds can be addicting, even small doses used over an extended period of time can be very difficult to stop. Some people take them as prescribe and find it very hard to stop, others can be more overtly addicted and continue to take higher and higher doses. In general best for short term use only. Try to avoid if history of addiction like alcohol.
