if i am allergic to nsaids can i take oxycodone-aspirin? what are my actual options for pain relief? also allergic to acetamenophine

Depends: If your allergy is to a specific nsaid like naproxen (more rare), then yes.  If your allergy is not IgE-medicated, but rather causes hives or perhaps other side effects such as gastrointestinal discomfort, then yes. Side effects could be treated. If your allergy is to all nsaids (such as in a aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease), then no unless desensitized. See an Allergist to differentiate.

i'm having severe lower back pain on left side from last 2 days. i tried taking aspirin, and applied ointment but it continues to stay same. can you recommend an medication that could help in immediate pain relief?

?cause: Focal LBP could be due to discogenic, facetogenic, kidney infection, stone, etc.  Treatments vary as do causes.  See your doctor if this persists

Your meds plus ice: Tylenol (acetaminophen) generally works fine.  If that doesn't,  do it ibuprofen is the next step.  If the bruising is within the last day, an ice pack applied to the area for 20 minute/hr will help.

i get hives from aspirin, motrin, tylenol, (acetaminophen) morphine, codeine, & vicodin. i also have med probs, need daily pain relief. are 2-3 hives dangerous? help!

Multiple sensitivity: People do definitely have multiple sensitivities to substances.  Your problem is not that uncommon. Unfortunately it is not easy to manage or fix especially when you need pain control.  You need very personalized attention by some treating doctor. We or the doctor needs an extensive history of any and all of your problems. Good luck i hope you have someone to work with.

Yes: Prolonged Aspirin use can cause increased bleeding.

Tension: Most common headaches are due to tension.
Aspirin works well in most cases at the recommended dosage. If the headaches are persistent, get worse, or change, then see your family doc. ..I don't recommend Aspirin for children, and check with your doc if you have any bleeding problems or are taking other medications..

Discuss With Doctor: I would highly recommend you discuss this with your father's cardiologist.  Your father's cardiologist is the only person who can answer this question appropriately as a stent may have been placed or they may have other concern for re-accumulation of plaque,  please ask the cardiologist and do not follow any one else's advice as that person may not have all the facts.

Call 911 then 325 mg: For someone with new-onset of symptoms suggesting a heart attack, call 911 then chew and swallow a 325 mg Aspirin tablet.
For someone who has had a heart attack in the past, daily Aspirin 81-162mg is recommended.  This is termed secondary prevention.
