Discuss With Doctor: I would highly recommend you discuss this with your father's cardiologist. Your father's cardiologist is the only person who can answer this question appropriately as a stent may have been placed or they may have other concern for re-accumulation of plaque, please ask the cardiologist and do not follow any one else's advice as that person may not have all the facts.
